此处所欲介绍的为一种可测广阔温度范围和简快操作之熔点测定仪器,不但简单,并且还很准确。如图所示,此仪器系双层空气浴(air bath),由1,2二试管用一温度计3经过软木塞成同心状支撑住。整个仪器可用一滴定管夹(buret clamp)水平支持之,所欲测定熔点之样品,直接放在温度计之汞泡士。加热则可用一本生灯沿大管外面之边缘而热之,并在每次试验完毕后,温度计上之熔化样品,必须用布揩净,如果还留有任何痕迹,则可用丙酮去除之,同时在软木塞上必须作一小沟,
