Since the 1980s, with the continuous improvement and development of transgenic technologies, more and more genetically modified foods have appeared in front of people, making people diversify in food choices. Genetically modified foods in the development process also showed the solution to the problem of food shortage, reduce the use of pesticides, so that the cost of production and other advantages. Its benefits to the general public are beyond doubt. However, there is not sufficient scientific evidence to prove that GM foods are safe. Therefore, the safety of genetically modified foods should be tested in practice. It is precisely because of the uncertainty of the technology and other characteristics of the public in China and the United States in the concept of GM food safety there are some differences.
