水墨人物画写生素来被看作是意笔人物画专业的必修课。它的基础性作用是一大特征。没有经过长期的写生训练,很难在形象塑造和形象记忆方面以及笔墨技巧与客观对象的有机结合方面得到提升。同时,写生也是预防和摆脱艺术创作僵化的有力方式。在创作者与客观对象之间的长期对话中,为了寻找新的刺激点,滋生“猎奇”和“炫技”的心态实属正常,只要是于创作有益的心态,在一定的阶段内都是重要且必需的,即便是有些矫枉过正。
