民国初年遗民选择的复辟,留辫、易服与归隐,变名,筑室,殉节,崇陵情结,自断年谱,停作日记、文章等方式是一种与明代遗民不同的生存状态,他们把日用性的名字、服饰及室名等外在性内容赋予内在的文化意蕴,一方面表现了他们归隐、留恋故主等“孤露遗臣”之情怀,一方面表现了他们不与民国合作,甚至敌视中华民国的态度。注目民初遗民这样特定人群的研究,有助于加深对转型过程中社会、时代、文化复杂性、多面性的认识。
