“非典”给民航企业的生产经营带来了极大的困难。就现在从厦门空港始发航班平均每天不过25班、出港旅客平均每天1088人次、平均航班客座率仅为34.17%,航班量减少了四分之三多。在这样困难的形势下,作为民航“劲敌”的铁路部门提出了“最便捷、最快速、最便宜”的市场促销口号,乘虚而入,开通厦门——上海城际快速直达货物列车。在快运货物方面,新加坡航空公司开辟了厦门至美国的第五航权航班,计划每周三班。中航、中货航、扬子江货运公司、全日空、港龙在厦门地区均保持全货机航班服务。厦门乃至福建地区货运市场格局发生了巨大变化,面对如此激烈的市场竞争,南航厦门公司日前专门召开货运代理人会议,分析形势,寻求同舟共济、实现双赢的良策。

At present, only 25 flights depart from Xiamen Airport on an average day, and the average number of departing passengers is 1088 passengers per day. The average passenger load factor is only 34.17% and the volume of flights reduced by more than three-fourths. In such a difficult situation, the “best, fastest, cheapest” market promotion slogan put forward by the railway department as the civil aviation “rival ” will take advantage of and open up the Xiamen-Shanghai inter-city express direct goods train. In terms of express cargoes, Singapore Airlines opened the fifth freedom rights flight between Xiamen and the United States, with three flights scheduled each week. China Cargo, China Cargo Airlines, Yangtze River Freight Company, All Nippon Airways, Dragonair in Xiamen area all cargo flights to maintain service. In the face of such fierce market competition, Xiamen Airlines Co., Ltd. and Xiamen Airlines recently convened a meeting of freight forwarders to analyze the situation and seek ways to help each other and realize a win-win situation.
