高效液相色谱对有机物能在几分钟分离并自动检测。但是在无机物(金属)上,它的应用技术发展水平则要差得多。至今在许多实验室里仍使用经典的重力流动法。这是因为迄今尚未研制出适合金属离子的象气相色谱那样的通用检测器;同时还因为金属离子的分离一般都要在浓的矿物酸介质中进行,仪器的抗腐蚀问题没有解决。
High performance liquid chromatography on organic matter can be separated in minutes and automatically detected. However, in the inorganic (metal), its application technology is much worse level of development. So far in many laboratories still use the classic gravity flow method. This is because so far no universal detector such as gas chromatography suitable for metal ions has been developed; at the same time, since the separation of metal ions is generally carried out in a concentrated mineral acid medium, the problem of corrosion resistance of the instrument is not solved.
