法国国家实用技术研究所最近发明的一种建筑外墙玻璃可以同时起到太阳能热水器的作用,这一研究成果非常适合建筑节能的要求。据悉,建筑外墙玻璃是一种双层中空玻璃,其40%的面积是透明的,余下的部分被盘旋状的可以通水的铜管以及银反射管所覆盖,覆盖物位于玻璃内层。这种双层中空玻璃可以吸收太阳能,并利用它把水加热。对于一栋大楼来说,仅仅利用外墙玻璃就完全能把热水问题解决,每年可以节省大量的电力或煤气。
