新课改要求教师充分尊重学生的地位,教师只是课堂的组织者与引导者,而学生才是课堂的主体。小组合作学习是一种能够顺应这一要求的教学模式,通过教师为学生设置不同的目标,要求或者布置与课业相关的思考题,将班级中的学生按照不同任务目标分成小组,在合作中进行学业的发展,分析、思考并最终解决问题。这样的教学模式充分尊重学生的课堂主体地位,对学生的团队合作意识和自主学习能力都能有较大的提升。
