The effects of the total extract of Hypericum perforatum on the activity of Corynebacterium glutamicum and Alcaligenes faecalis after light and non-light treatment were reported. The results showed that the total extract has strong antibacterial and bactericidal effects on Corynebacterium glutamicum. Has antibacterial effect on Alcaligenes faecalis; its antibacterial or bactericidal effect is related to its concentration, and does not require illumination
