重庆市2009年6月应用能力B级考试抽样分析数据显示出高职学生公共英语的基础薄弱环节普遍存在于听、写、译这几部分。单纯地加强基础训练不能有效地提高学生应用语言的能力。为了达到培养技术、生产、管理、服务等领域的高等应用性专门人才的要求,本文探讨了在高职公共英语教学中运用问题本位学习的教学模式,以达到训练语言基础和职业运用的目的。
The sample analysis data of Chongqing’s application ability B-class exam in June 2009 shows that the basic weaknesses of higher vocational students’ public English are commonly found in listening, writing, and translating. Simply strengthening basic training can not effectively improve students’ ability to use language. In order to meet the requirements of advanced applied professionals in fields such as training technology, production, management, and service, this paper discusses the use of problem-based learning in the teaching of higher vocational English to achieve the purpose of training language and occupational use.
