The first issue of Christian Hope was launched in January 1924 by Sichuan Mei Dao Hui (later renamed the China Christian Church Sichuan Conference). Its source of funding is mainly borne by the Canadian Anglo-American propaganda annual costs, the United States will assume the distribution task. In order to increase subscribers and ensure the operation of publications, Hope Monthly took a variety of measures such as discounts, gift giving and home delivery and tried its best to establish an author team. The purpose of this journal is to answer the doctrine, enhance knowledge, raise morality, discuss issues, liaise with members and more. Although there are many religious contents in the subject of “Hope Monthly”, there are also many secular societies, such as world knowledge and scientific common sense. July 1952 The issue and the “youth issue” merged to create a “new hope monthly.”
