淄博位于中国东部沿海经济大省山东省的中部,南临东岳泰山,北依母亲河黄河,是国务院批准的山东半岛沿海开放城市,现辖张店、淄川、博山、周村、临淄5个区,桓台、沂源、高青3个县和1个国家高新技术产业开发区总面积5938平方公里,总人口400多万。淄博历史悠久,人杰地灵。早在2600多年前的春秋战国时期,淄博就是齐国都城,是当时东方最大的城市之一。淄博市世界短篇小说巨著《聊斋志异》的作者、清代文学家蒲松龄的故乡,是国际足联正式认定的世界足球运动的起源地,是中国轻工业协会命名的“中国陶瓷名城”。
Zibo is located in the central part of Shandong Province, a large coastal economic province in eastern China.
