The Human Rights Studies Center of Nankai University (NU) was founded on April 8,2005.Present at the inauguration ceremony were about 40 people,including Prof.Xue Jinwen,secretary of NU Party Committee,Prof.Hong Guoqi,former NU Party secretary,Prof.Dong Yunhu,Vice-President and Secretary-General of the China Society for Human Rights Studies,and others.Prof.Xue Jinwen and Prof.Dong Yunhu spoke at the ceremony.
