住房和城乡建设部公布《2007年城市、县城和村镇建设统计公报》——日前,住房和城乡建设部公布了《2007年城市、县城和村镇建设统计公报》,数据显示,2007年末,全国设市城市655个,城市城区人口3.4亿人,暂住人口0.35亿人,城区建成区面积3.5万平方公里。2007年,城市完成市政公用设施固定资产投资6422亿元,占同期全社会固定资产投资总额的4.68%,占同期城镇固定资产投资总额的5.47%。
