抗霉菌素“120”是中国农科院从土中分离所得的一种吸水刺孢链霉菌北京变种所产生的一种抗菌素。1983年,在无锡市郊区蠡园乡进行“120”防治西瓜炭疽病小区试验并与5种常用杀菌剂(托布津、多菌灵、退菌特、波尔多液、农抗“401”)对比。以“120”和托布津效果最好,防效分别为62.22%和61.97%。1984年,在蠡园乡东红村(1亩小区试验)、河埒乡农科站(1.5亩大田示范试验)进一步对比“120”和托布津防治西瓜炭疽病的防病增产效果,结果“120”防病效果60%以上、保瓜效果50%以上、增产30%以上,而托布津的防治效果不够理想。
