澳门《知新报》是戊戌变法时期资产阶级维新派在华南地区创办的最重要的宣传刊物,共存在了四年时间,极为典型地折射出戊戌前后维新派社会意识、政治思想和文化观念的动向。本文拟以该刊作个案剖析,以窥视这一时期资产阶级维新变法思潮的嬗变。一、《知新报》的创办《知新报》创刊于1897年2月22日,初为五日刊,从第20册起改为旬刊,第112册起改为半月刊,所载内容分“论说”、“上谕”、“国内外近事”、“译报”、“译电”等类。何廷光、康广仁任总理,何树龄、徐勤、刘桢麟、韩文举、吴恒炜、陈继俨、梁启超等人为撰述,其中大多是康门弟子,原上海《强学报》的一些骨干分子,也参加了报纸的编撰工作。在《知新报》的周围,云集了一批当时华南地区维新派的佼佼者,澳
The newspaper “Mochizuki” in Macao was the most important propaganda publication founded by the bourgeois reformers in southern China during the Reform Movement of 1898 in a total of four years.
