The toughness distribution characteristics and the toughness control microstructure factors of the coarse grained region in different welding processes were systematically studied. Based on the dynamic fracture information provided by the oscillometric impact test, several new criteria for evaluating ductile-brittle transition temperature of pipeline steel are proposed.
