本文从物质定义的原则性和灵活性视角探寻我国哲学界有关物质定义争论症结,并探索解决分歧的途径,认为从物质定义的原则性来说,物质定义的内涵实际上是坚持辩证唯物主义立场、观点和方法认识物质世界,反对主观的形而上学的的认识方法,此外别无其他含义。从物质定义的灵活性来说,物质是可以包含一切的(除了意识之外)。只有客观、全面、辩证、系统、准确地把握物质概念的全部内涵,既把握其内涵的原则性,又把握其内涵的灵活性,人们才可能在争论中清醒认识到应该坚持什么、反对什么,应该如何正确地理解物质涵义,避免把原则性和灵活性混淆或颠倒,从根本上化解有关问题的纷争。
This article explores the crux of the dispute over the definition of matter in our philosophical circles from the perspective of the principle and flexibility of material definition and explores ways to resolve the differences. It holds that the connotation of the definition of matter is in fact the dialectical materialist position , Ideas and methods of understanding the physical world, opposed to subjective metaphysical methods of understanding, in addition, no other meaning. Materiality can contain everything (except consciousness) in terms of the flexibility of material definition. Only by objectively, comprehensively, dialectically, systematically and accurately grasping the entire connotation of the concept of matter, not only grasping the principle of its connotation but also grasping the flexibility of its connotation can people clearly realize what should be upheld and what should be opposed in the debate, How to correctly understand the material connotation, avoid confusion or inversion of principle and flexibility, and fundamentally resolve the disputes over the issues.
