This paper attempts to take “Adj. (/ Bottom) N. ” structure as an example, the use of corpus research methods of English-Chinese translation novels with the diachronic characteristics. The analysis shows that the collocations of conventionalization and anti-normative features co-exist in the target language. Normalization is only a relative concept. It is emphasized in the translation process of different periods with the change of social-cultural context. Used as a measure of translation dimension. The coexistence of the normalization and the abnormal regulation is the inevitable result of the tension between the loyalty and authenticity of the translation.
