2005年10月16日,晚饭前,85岁的老丁(丁景唐)翻检出一套《巴金译文选集》,让来访的两位老友的女儿欣赏。这套书中的《草原故事及其他》扉页上,有巴老用钢笔题写的几行字,“赠丁景唐同志巴金九○年九月七日”。老丁与巴老是多年的老朋友,“文革”后巴老出版的各种文集,几乎都会送给老丁。北京媒体记者曾为了撰写有关巴老的专题报道,在上海采访老丁后,得出一个结论:巴老对老丁是“有求必应”。
On October 16, 2005, before dinner, the 85-year-old Lao Ding (Ding Jingtang) turned over a set of “Selected Papers for the Translation of Ba Jin”, so that the two old friends’ daughters could enjoy it. This book in the “Prairie Story and Other” title page, there are a few old pen pen inscribed with a few words, “presented gratitude Ding Tang Tang September 7, 1990.” Lao Ding and Ba are old friends for many years. After the “Cultural Revolution”, all kinds of essays published by Ba Lao and Lao Ding have been given to them. Beijing media reporters once wrote a special report about Pakistani old man and later interviewed Laoding in Shanghai. They came to a conclusion: Laos is a “must have”.
