抗美援朝战争第二次战役中,志愿军第40军与第38军密切配合,给美军第2师以歼灭性打击。但目前已公开的交战双方史料对此次战役中美军第2师被歼人数的记载有很大不同,尤其是第40军战史记载的数字更少:“第二次战役亡伤俘敌3000余人”。作者根据亲身经历并查阅相关史料,对该师遭受歼灭性打击的具体情况进行了分析,认为志愿军歼灭其7000人一说比较符合实际。
During the Second Battle of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, the 40th Army and 38th Army of the Volunteers worked closely with each other to annihilate the 2nd Division of the U.S. Army. However, the historical data on both belligerents that have been made public at the moment are quite different from the records on the number of the No. 2 U.S. Army being annihilated in this campaign. In particular, there are fewer figures recorded in the history of the 40th Army’s military history: “The second battle killed prisoners of war More than 3,000 people. ” Based on his personal experience and referring to the relevant historical materials, the author analyzed the specific circumstances of the division’s disastrous attack and concluded that it is more realistic for the volunteers to annihilate 7,000 of them.
