In mid-January 2007, Canada’s Minister of International Trade, David Emerson, led two business delegations to China; his visit included Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai. During his current visit to China, Secretary Emerson aimed to strengthen business relations between Canada and China and to sign an agreement on science and technology cooperation.
