AN/TPS-73是一种机动、全固态的、由S波段一次监视雷达和L波段单脉冲二次监视雷达组成的雷达系统。为能迅速展开便用,该系统设置在一个车厢内。本系统是为美国海军陆战队和美国空军设计研制的,是为了能在恶劣的杂波环境和电子干扰环境中满足空中交通管制对监视、检测、跟踪和识别方面的要求。发射低峰值功率的编码波形及采用全频段脉间频率捷变可为雷达生存提供所需的特性,同时,却能对整个监视空域保持高度的目标可见度。一种改进的自适应MTD技术加上高度的系统稳定性,便本系统能自动、有效地抑制时变租空间变化的杂波。通过故障弱化措施和采用备用冗余元件可达到好的费效比,重大故障的平均间隔时间能达到5000小时,从而确保本系统能在敌对环境条件下具有高的系统有效度。
The AN / TPS-73 is a motorized, all-solid-state radar system consisting of an S-band primary surveillance radar and an L-band monopulse secondary surveillance radar. The system is housed in a compartment for quick deployment. The system was developed for the U.S. Marines and the U.S. Air Force to meet the requirements of air traffic control surveillance, detection, tracking and identification in harsh clutter and electronic jamming environments. Emission of encoded waveform with low peak power and the use of full band inter-frequency frequency agility provide the required characteristics for radars survival while maintaining a high degree of target visibility over the entire surveillance airspace. An improved adaptive MTD technology coupled with a high degree of system stability, the system can automatically and effectively suppress the clutter of time-varying lease changes in space. Through the fault weakening measures and the use of spare redundant components to achieve good cost-effective ratio, the average time to major failures up to 5000 hours, thus ensuring the system can be hostile to the high environmental validity of the system.
