该文采用无定形硅粉和矿物油等材料开发了能够模拟天然粘土和砂土工程特性的人工合成透明材料———人工合成透明土。通过对其工程特性以及颗粒图像变形测量系统及算法的研究及其在模型中的应用进行了介绍和评价,推动土体变形的三维测量研究,同时也有助于了解土体在各种荷载作用下的变形机理,并对颗粒图像技术在岩土工程中的应用前景及研究方向作了展望。
