夏季在阳台养花,有两大不利因素:炎热和干燥。尤其是三楼以上的阳台,楼高风大,水分蒸发快,对盆花的保湿要求颇高。笔者总结了以下六种阳台花卉度夏保湿法,有兴趣的朋友不妨一试。埋盆法此法适用于中、小型盆花。取大型木箱或泡沫塑料盒,底部开好排水孔,垫好瓦片,盛满河砂或膨胀珍珠岩,将盆花半埋或全埋于其中(如图1),亦可将阳台上的小型盆花埋于大型盆花的盆土之中(如图2)。每天浇水时将盆花连同砂箱一并浇透,这样通过一齐蒸发,可以增加周围空气的湿度,改善局部小气候。需要注意的是这些被埋的盆花必须定期取出检查盆底,如有根须从排水孔中长出,应及时修去,否则由于砂土的水分、通气条件均优于原盆土,被埋盆花往往会在此萌发大量新根,而使原盆中少发或不发根,待秋后取出时如果一次性全部修去这些裸露的新根,又会因原盆中缺乏须根而影响水分的吸收,导致植株萎蔫。
