In 2000, with the recovery of the global economy, the container industry also faced a good year of development. According to statistics of the State General Administration of Customs, in 2000, China exported 1.107 million containers to 50 countries and regions, and the sales amount was 2.38 billion US dollars. Compared with 1999, the export volume has increased by 476,000, and the amount has increased by 899 million U.S. dollars. The increase in the volume and the magnitude of the increase are unprecedented. More importantly, since 2000, the volume of freight has increased.
