空降的职业经理人,期望得到创业元老的普遍认同、尊重和支持。但令空降兵为难的是,他们进入企业后常常发觉创业元老们之间已形成紧密的圈子,自己很难打入进去。北大光华管理学院卫生经济与管理学系副主任、教授刘学认为,元老们之间的共性通常会人于他们与职业经理人之间的共性。这是因为:职业经理人对公司现实问题的看法是依据在过去企业的运行模式、经验和判断;而创业元老对公司现实问题判断的依据是公司的历史和发展过程中所积累下来的经验。所以
