In early 2015, entrusted by the Chinese Nutrition Society and supported by the Shanghai Nutrition Society and the Shanghai Municipal Health and Family Planning Commission, the Nutrition Department of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine took the lead in starting the pilot program of certification of registered dietitians in China. After several expert seminars, the pilot group of China Registered Dietitians Qualification Pilot initially identified the candidates, candidates, and exam syllabus for attending registered dietitians’ exams.
