1976年7月28日震惊世界的唐山大地震已整整十年了。这次7.8级大地震,死亡24.2万人,直接经济损失近百亿元(停产损失难计),恢复和重建唐山、天津两市又支出百亿元。冶金工业系统损失亦惨重,唐钢职工死亡2890人,停产了2个多月,直接损失和恢复生产支出约2亿元。震后十年来,全国工程界大力协同,加强了对震灾防治技术的研究,已取得了长足的进展,并已进入了综合防治震害的新阶段。在唐山地震十周年的时候,回顾和总结唐山地震的经验教训,对今后减轻震灾损失,将有裨益。
The Tangshan earthquake that shocked the world on July 28, 1976, has been for a decade. The 7.8-magnitude earthquake caused 242,000 deaths. The direct economic losses amounted to nearly 10 billion yuan (it was difficult to stop production losses), and the restoration and reconstruction of Tangshan and Tianjin cities also cost 10 billion yuan. The loss of the metallurgical industry system was also disastrous. Tangsteel employees died 2890 people, and production stopped for more than 2 months. The direct loss and restoration of production costs were about 200 million yuan. In the ten years after the earthquake, the national engineering community vigorously coordinated and strengthened the research on earthquake disaster prevention and control technology. It has made considerable progress and has entered a new phase of comprehensive prevention and control of earthquake damage. In the tenth anniversary of the Tangshan Earthquake, reviewing and summarizing the experiences and lessons of the Tangshan earthquake will help reduce the damage caused by the earthquake.
