“写生”是西方写实绘画最基本的观察方式和训练手段,20世纪初,伴随西方美术思潮与美术教育体制的进入,成为画家反映现实、关注社会人生,提高造型能力和笔墨技巧,摆脱程式化的一种手段。引导同学在写生时,要把临摹和创造融入其中,它们是同一整体中的三个部分的合一,不可孤立开来。我们要进一步发掘中国画的传统资源,建立自己的独立的具有民族特色的现代写生观念及体系。
