陈白露是曹禺先生代表作《日出》中精心塑造的现代知识女性形象,她只身闯进大都市,做了那“损不足以奉有余”的上流社会中的“女交际花”.在这个光怪陆离的都市中,她自甘沉沦而又不甘寂寞,放荡空虚而又天良未泯。“竹均”是陈白露原来的名字,以前的她追求日出、光明与希望,可最后她却沉沦在醉生梦死、纸醉金迷中,白露在“凋零”与“复活”中进行着生死的挣扎与徘徊。
Chen Bailu is the image of the modern intellectual woman elaborated in Cao Yu’s masterpiece Sunrise. She broke into the metropolis alone and made the “female social flower” in the upper class society where she could not afford to lose too much. In this bizarre city, she willingly perish but unwilling to lust, emptiness but empty-handed. “Bamboo are ” is the original name of Chen Bailu, the former her pursuit of sunrise, light and hope, but she finally sink in the dream of death, intoxicated with golden age, white dew in the “withering” and “resurrection” in Life and death struggle and wandering.
