人文主义产生于公元前五世纪,它建立的目的是呼吁人身和思想的解放,人文主义和英语教学的关系源远流长。本文先分析了独立学院大学英语的教学现状,然后研究把人文主义教学法植入独立学院大学英语教学的可行性。人文主义教学法符合当下素质教育的指导思想,有助改革英语教学模式,增进师生关系,培养学生独立思维和创新能力,教师应把它和其他教学法有机结合,大力促进独立学院大学英语教学质量的提高。
Humanism originated in the fifth century BC. Its purpose was to establish the emancipation of the human body and mind. The relationship between humanism and English teaching dates back to ancient times. This paper first analyzes the current situation of college English teaching in independent colleges and then studies the feasibility of introducing the humanistic teaching method into college English teaching in independent colleges. Humanistic pedagogy conforms to the guiding ideology of current quality education. It helps to reform the English teaching mode, enhance the relationship between teachers and students and cultivate students’ independent thinking and innovative ability. Teachers should combine it with other teaching methods and vigorously promote college English teaching in independent colleges Quality improvement.
