话端午,离不开屈原。屈原出生于楚国贵族家庭,屈原的祖先和楚王的祖先一样,开始也姓芈,后来改姓熊;传到熊绎时,因功受封于楚,遂居丹阳(也就是现在湖北省秭归县境内)。这就是屈原的故乡。春秋初期,约公元前7世纪,楚武王熊通的儿子被封在“屈”这个地方,叫做屈瑕,他的后代就以屈为氏了。楚王的本家中,和屈氏家族类似的,还有昭氏和景氏,昭、屈、景是楚国王族的三大姓。屈原曾任三闾大夫,据说就是掌管王族三姓的事务。
