2001年3月21日、22日,荷兰、爱尔兰发生了口蹄疫(Foot and Mouth Disease)。为防止该病传入我国,保护我国畜牧业安全,根据《中华人民共和国进出境动物植物检疫法》等有关法律法规,特公告如下: 一、禁止直接或间接从荷兰、爱尔兰输入偶蹄动物及其产品;已运抵口岸的来自荷兰、爱尔兰的偶蹄动物及其产品一律作退回或者销毁处理。二、禁止邮寄或旅客携带来自荷兰、爱尔兰的偶蹄动物产品进境,一经发现,一律作退回或销毁
March 21 and 22, 2001, Foot and Mouth Disease occurred in the Netherlands and Ireland. In order to prevent the disease from being introduced into our country and to protect the safety of animal husbandry in our country, according to the relevant laws and regulations such as the Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Entry and Exit Animals and Plants Quarantine, we hereby announce the following: 1. It is forbidden to import cloven-hoofed animals directly or indirectly from the Netherlands and Ireland Products; cloven-hoofed animals and their products from the Netherlands and Ireland that have arrived at the port will be returned or destroyed at all times. Second, prohibit postal or passenger carrying cloven-hoofed animals from the Netherlands, Ireland into the country, once discovered, will be returned or destroyed
