Objective To study the relationship between serum fetuin A (AHSG), glycosylated hemoglobin (Hb A1c), blood glucose and diabetic foot. Methods Ninety-five patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) were divided into experimental group (n = 45) and control group (n = 50) according to the presence or absence of diabetic foot. The AHSG, GLU, Hb A1c and CV of blood glucose were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in Hb A1c and GLU levels between the two groups (P> 0.05). The AHSG level of the experimental group was (378.6 ± 126.7) μg / ml, higher than that of the control group (227.5 ± 87.9) μg / ml, The difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The CV of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The determination of serum fetuin A has a positive effect on the monitoring of diabetic foot, and the coefficient of variation of blood glucose monitoring has some correlation with diabetic foot.
