由于世界经济贸易的蓬勃发展,带动了国家间相互贸易货物运输量的不断增长,与此相适当的国际集装箱运输也日新月异,正朝着船舶吨位的大型化方向发展。根据有关资料分析,现今世界上20家主要船公司已在营运的载箱量在3500TEU以上的船舶达70多艘,最大可达4800TEU,而且一些国家的船公司正在考虑特大的载箱量为5000~8000TEU的集装箱船。评价一个港口是否为国际性枢纽港,不是看其年吞吐量的多少,很大程度上是决定于它处理集装箱量是多少,以及转口货物在总吞吐量中所占的比例。
Due to the vigorous development of the world economy and trade, the volume of trans-national trade in goods has been continuously increasing. With the rapid development of international container shipping, the international container shipping is developing rapidly. According to the information analysis, today the world’s 20 major shipping companies have been operating more than 3500 TEU carrying capacity of more than 70 ships, up to 4800TEU, and some shipping companies are considering an exceptionally large container volume of 5000 ~ 8000TEU container ship. The assessment of a port as an international hub is not based on its annual throughput, but rather on how much it handles containers and the proportion of re-exports as a percentage of the total throughput.
