中国新时期30年的学术发展轨迹表现为三个时段:从1978年至20世纪80年代中期,可以大致看作是中国新时期30年学术发展的第一个时段,中国学术发展在此前的“文革”期间实际已发生了断裂,所以这一时段学术发展的总体特点主要表现为接续断裂,全面复苏,十分活跃;从20世纪80年代中期到90年代后期,可以大致地看作是中国新时期30年学术发展的第二个时段,这一时段的中国学术出现了全面繁荣和硕果累累的景象,这一时段的中国学术研究明显地表现出面向现实、面向时代、面向未来的突出特点;从20世纪90年代后期至今,可以看作是中国新时期30年学术发展的第三个时段,这一时段除继续具有第二时段的特点外,又具有了追求深化,追求厚重,反对浮华等新的重要特点。联系起来看,如果说第一时段和第二时段的关键词主要是“数量”、“繁荣”的话,那么第三时段的关键词可以说主要是“质量”、“深度”、“厚重”。
