中华电力有限公司(简称中电)现正采用3Com公司的NETBuilder Ⅱ型网络路由器装置,为该公司设立一项光纤分布式数据介面(FDDI)科技大型网络系统结构,安装工程已经顺利完成,网络系统迅即投入服务。 该项大规模环型网络结构除了以3Com公司的NETBuilder路由器作为网络主干外,亦同时选用3Com的集线器及网络介面插卡为基础,相互连接中电分布在九龙及新界各地一共八个主要办事处及供电站的局域网络(LAN)。全新网络系统最高能发挥每秒一百兆比特(100Mb)的数据处理速率。
China Light & Power Co., Ltd. (CLP) is now adopting 3Com’s NETBuilder II network router device to establish a fiber distributed data interface (FDDI) technology large-scale network system structure for the company. The installation project has been successfully completed. Get into service immediately. The large-scale ring network structure is based on 3Com’s NETBuilder router as the backbone of the network. It also uses 3Com’s hubs and network interface cards as the basis for interconnecting CLP’s distribution in eight major offices in Kowloon and the New Territories. And the local area network (LAN) of the power station. The new network system can use up to one hundred megabits per second (100Mb) data processing rate.
