推进信息产业和信息化发展,是广东省实施自主创新战略、增强自主创新能力、提高核心竞争力的重要内容和关键支撑力量。信息产业是最能体现创新能力的行业之一,信息产业的技术创新也是我省增强自主创新能力的重要领域。信息技术渗透性强,能够广泛应用于传统产业以及国民经济和社会发展的各个方面,有效提高各个产业和各类企业的自主创新能力,通过推进信息产业的自主创新,将对加快我省自主创新步伐起到重要作用。中共广东省委副书记、省长黄华华同志撰写《加快推进信息产业发展努力提升自主创新能力》一文,对广东“十五”信息化建设取得的成绩进行总结,分析了信息化当前存在的突出问题,要求全省各级政府做好“十一五”时期的信息化工作,必须坚持以科学发展观为统领,抓住发展机遇,创新发展模式,提高发展质量,增强发展后劲,推动我省信息产业和信息化建设继续走在全国前列,为全省经济社会的科学发展、和谐发展作出新的贡献。
