随着现代科学技术的发展,经济体制改革的深入,社会主义市场经济的日益发展,社会对文献的需求发生着很大的变化。作为文献情报、信息资源中心的高校图书馆来说,为了能适应这个变化,能更好地为教学科研和经济建设服务,就需要我们改变过去的传统做法,首先要拓宽情报源,因为它是情报研究的最基础环节,是图书馆一切工作的重要物质条件之一。然后从各种情报源中用自己的劳动生产必要的一次文献、二次文献甚至三次文献,从而为教学和科研提供最新颖、最及时的情报服务。
With the development of modern science and technology, the deepening of the reform of the economic system and the growing development of the socialist market economy, there has been a great change in the demand of the society for the literature. In order to adapt to this change and to better serve the teaching, scientific research and economic construction, the university library, as a document information and information resource center, needs us to change the traditional practice of the past.
