In July 1977 in a mixed forest in Ontario, Canada, the application of nuclear polyhedrosis virus insecticide to control the red-headed saw beetle (Neodiprion lecontei) test, the mixed forest from Pinus thunbergii (Pinus resinosa) (P.banksiana), 1-1.5 meters high. The experimental results show that the application of nuclear polyhedrosis virus oil mist prevention and control of red-headed saw bee is a practical method. Spraying and coverage of the oil mist is good, while no adverse effects on the virus were found with Volck oil.
