登山是一项有益于身心的健康运动,可让心肺功能得到很好的锻炼。对于老年人或者有关节炎的患者来说,登山时戴上护膝能够有效缓解关节的磨损,尤其是下山的时候。下山时,膝关节总是处在交替屈膝负重的状态中。这时,韧带松弛,关节很不稳定,全靠支持带维持着。当关节有横向位移时,极易损伤支持带,产生细小的纤维断裂,毛细血管出血,表现为膝内侧或膝外侧疼痛。另外,屈膝时关节不稳定,如果受到侧向外力或滑动,重心不稳,可扭伤膝关节,造成半月板损伤,表现为关节内剧烈疼痛,不能屈伸活动,甚至关节肿胀。护膝对关节能够起到固定的作用,减少其损伤的几率。
