7月16日获悉:NEC公司获得了中国电信系统一笔总价值达15亿元人民币的订单。由此,NEC将向中国电信提供同步数字分类光纤传输系统(SDH/FOTS)及波分复用技术(WDM)的全套方案,实现中国电信从北京到沈阳再到长春总计达2500公里的主干网扩容建设。据有关人士介绍,我国目前电讯传输系统面临的困难是线路光纤对有限,电信业务的快速发展导致主干网扩容已是刻不容缓。而WDM波分复用技术可在不增加光纤对的前提下有效提高通讯容量,并能够方便地将16路WDM升级为32路。据悉,这笔订单是NEC在中国获得的第一笔关于WDM系统的订单。

It is reported that this order is NEC’s first order of WDM system in China.
