我们敬爱的徐士弘教授因长期患病,医治无效,不幸于82年10月15日在成都与世长辞了,终年77岁。徐教授在重病期间,成都科大校长、党委书记、以及各级领导同志都先后到医院看望过他,死后遵照徐老师生前口嘱及家属意见,不开追悼会,只向遗体告别致哀。时值成都正在召开全国性的皮革学术报告会,出席代表100多人闻讯后,全体同志向徐教授默哀致敬,10月下旬在桂林召开的全国皮革科技编委 Our beloved Professor Xu Shih-hsiung died of long-term illness and was ineffective.
