The research on a high-strength Fe-Ni-based superalloy shows that when the content of Mn and Si is too high, the alloy has a long-lasting gap sensitivity and is difficult to eliminate by the heat treatment system adjustment. Electron microscopy observation and analysis show that the film boride on the grain boundary is the main reason leading to the alloy notch sensitivity.
