A series of compounds that contained furan skeletons were synthesized using 3,4|bis(trimethylsilyl)furan as staring material. 1H NMR, 13 C NMR, MS and EA had identified these new molecules. The important factors that influenced reactions were discussed, and the new furan intermediates could be used in various organic syntheses.
