She expressed her opinions on religion, history, capitalism, family ethics, marriage, sex, death, animal rights, black civil rights movement, colonialism, cultural identity, Social roles and many other issues. The contents of interviews may seem complicated, but the gradually ecofeminist position of writers is the meeting point of various topics: emphasizing the sacredness of nature, the hierarchical system of criticism, deconstructing the values of patriarchal values and advocating cultural diversity. This series of interviews records Walker’s ecofeminist thinking in a more direct and vivid way and is an excellent source for us to further study the ecological themes in her novels and poetry works.
