戏曲艺术是一种综合艺术,它以唱、做、念、打作为艺术手段,舞蹈美与雕塑美是戏曲艺术表现形式中所不可缺少的,在戏曲表演里,生活动作的合理性,人物性格的鲜明性,有许多是通过雕塑美来表现的。所有人物的形象都是雕塑艺术的形象,把人物的内心活动,蕴藏的潜在意识,用大幅度、强烈的舞蹈和造型表现出来,使观众看到人物的思想风貌,把人物的心理因素刻划出来,从而赋予所有舞台形象一动一静的雕塑美,把它们塑造成为一种具有高度感染力和表现力的雕塑美的艺术形象,起到深化人物性格,渲染舞台气氛的作用。
