海底龙宫,是神話中的宝庫。龙宫自然沒有,但是海底确是一个神奇奧秘、宝藏丰富的地方。围繞着各大洲的海底,一般是深不到200米的大陆浅滩,即陆棚区,約占海底面积的3.1％。然后就是占12.4％的大陆坡区,深度从200米到3000米。更深的海底,就属于海盆了,从3000米到6000米深的海盆区是海底的主要部分,占总面积的83.2％,深度超过6000米的是海淵区,占1.3％。
