This article investigates the relationship between exercise-induced premature supraventricular premature beats and the amplitude of ST segment depression before premature beats and the relationship between the difference and the presence and severity of coronary artery disease (CAD). PATIENTS AND METHODS: Totally 2200 patients (22.1%) had premature ventricular contractions during exercise test in 2200 patients who may or certainly were CAD. Of the 486 patients, 133 (27.4%) had left ventricular angiography and Coronary angiography. Of the 133 patients, 101 were male and 32 were female, ranging in age from 30 to 67 years (mean, 53.6 ± 7.9). Divided into two groups, 96 cases (72%) of group A had obvious CAD, and 37 cases (28%) of group B had no CAD. A group was divided into A_1 group of 34 cases, a history of myocardial infarction; A_2 group of 62 cases, no history of myocardial infarction.
